Licenses to sell intoxicating liquors and fermented malt beverages are
required by State Statute Chapter 125. The licenses are issued annually
from July 1 to June 30.

Wisconsin Department of Revenue Application Forms Application form must be notarized, which can be done at City Hall.
State law requires that the application be received at least 15 days before
it is submitted to the Common Council for approval. A notice of the
application will be published in the City's official newspaper.
Responsible Beverage Server Course State law also requires that the individual, partners(if partnership)
or agent (if corporation or limited liability company) complete the
Responsible Beverage Server Course. The course is offered at
Milwaukee Area Technical College and Waukesha Technical
College. If you prefer to take the course on line, please visit

Proof of course completion is required.
City Approval Applications must be submitted for approval no later than the
Wednesday prior to the Tuesday Common Council Meeting.
The Council meets the second and fourth Tuesday of each month.
