Transient Merchant License Minimize

The City of Muskego Municipal Code contains the following definitions:

Transient Merchant - "A transient merchant is a person who engages at a fixed
location in the City in the temporary business of selling property at such
location. Transient merchant does not include a person who does not sell from
stock but exhibits samples for the purpose of securing orders for future
delivery only but includes a person who associates temporarily with any local
business or conducts business in the name of a local merchant, dealer or
auctioneer."

Application for Transient Merchant 

Plan Commission Approval
Contact the Plan Department at (262) 679-4136 to review your plan of operation
and determine if you need to receive the approval of the Plan Commission. Plan
Commission approval must be obtained prior to issuance of the Transient Merchant
license. Plan review fees are charged.

Transient Merchant License to Sell Fireworks
The Transient Merchant application form should be completed if you intend to
sell fireworks at an outside stand. Plan Commission approval is required.

A transient merchant that intends to sell fireworks must pay the fees listed below.
