Acquired in 1996, our largest park
This 46-acre undeveloped area, named after Arthur Thiesenhusen, located on the far north central part of the city, contains open agricultural land, and areas of woodlands and wetlands within a second environmental corridor. The park will contain a hockey/ice skating rink, shelter with indoor bathrooms, sledding hill, two parking lots for 50 cars each, soccer/open space areas, baseball field, small tot-lot playgrounds and a broadwalk/trail system through the wetlands and woodland area.
