Sergeant Robert “Bob” Kuspa began his career with the City of Muskego Police Department in 1992. He was assigned as a patrol officer until 2002 when he was promoted to his current rank of Sergeant.
Sergeant Kuspa came to the Muskego Police Department with a relatively extensive military background; having served as both a U.S. Army Military Policeman and as a Special Agent with the U.S. Army Criminal Investigations Division. His background and the experience he developed working patrol afforded Sergeant Kuspa additional assignments.
Sergeant Kuspa had been a long-standing member of the department S.W.A.T. team. Sergeant Kuspa also serves as a state certified firearms and vehicle contacts instructor.
During Sergeant Kuspa’s tenure with the department, he served as an acting Detective with the Waukesha County Metropolitan Drug Enforcement Group where he performed “undercover” operations.
Sergeant Kuspa is a member of the Wisconsin Air National Guard where he is a member of the 128th Security Forces Squadron. In the aftermath of the events of September 11th, 2001, Sergeant Kuspa was immediately called to active duty in support of Operation Noble Eagle (Grand Forks Air Base, North Dakota) and Operation Enduring Freedom (Bagram Air Base, Afghanistan.)
Sergeant Kuspa earned a B.S. degree in Criminal Justice Administration from Mount Senario College in May of 1995.
